Gipsy Point is a design for a very small house of approximately forty square metres. The building is designed for a secluded bushland site on the Genoa River. In addition to serving as a dwelling, the building will function as a café with limited outdoor seating.

The house has been orientated to frame views of the Genoa River. The use of built-in furniture throughout the dwelling optimizes the efficient use of space. The design utilizes robust and exposed finishes to reduce the need for ongoing maintenance and to meet the high level of bushfire resistance that is required at this site.
